Key West campgrounds

I really enjoyed Geiger Key. Restaurant on site.

If I had to guess I'd say 25' or there about,Most have a little tiki hut on the water.Our rig is 40' but I've had 45' rigs next to me,tent camper too. You pull your car next to the rig and plenty of room to get around. At night everyone sits out in front fishing and having fun.

Thanks for the info,,, we have been to Blue Water Key , Point Of View RV Resort and looking for yet another nice place to stay... We have enjoyed both so far.

The bible on Florida Keys RV Parks They even recently did a webinar that gives you great advise on camping in the keys here

Just checked with Bahia Honda. No joy. Connected with Boyd's and secured an inland site. Thanks for the posts.

We have camped at Boyds and Bluewater and will take Bluewater any day of the week IF you can get in. Although it's about 10+ miles north from KW it's worth the drive, IMHO. Quieter, waterfront on both sides, bay on one, canal on the other. Very nice owner leased sites.
Boyds is well-located but very crowded and most people reserve a year in advance. Not going back this winter, heading south of the border instead and returning to some of our favorite places in Mexico.

It's the luck of the draw and timing as to whether you will be able to get a site in April. I'll bet most parks are already full with reservations. Call Bluewater key and get on their wait list ( call both .net and .com) Check El Mar and Boyd's on Stock Island . You never know when a spot will open up due to a cancelation. BTW- we will be there for the month of April and I booked several months ago , wasn't able to get a site a Bluewater, so I went to El Mar.
