Key West in May

DH and I just made ressies for Boyds CG for mid May. We'll be there for 4 days. Know parking in KW as a true challenge. Can we plan on using the bus? What "Must Do" and "Don't Bother" experiences would you like to share? We love history, local bars/taverns, perhaps a boat ride. No fishing please! We're definitely not "late nite" type people, but LOVE Happy Hours! Thanks in advance for your help.
  • We found Hemmingway House quite an interesting tour. Agree on Duval Street. Lots to see and do and just about every bar has decent live entertainment.
  • Boyd's is roughly five miles to Duval Street where most of the real action takes place. Lots of bars and happy hours, and don't miss sunset at Mallory Square. Lots of folks bicycle in KW and cars generally make room for them, and I'd encourage you to bike back and forth if you're up to it. Don't know about using the bus, but there's lots of pink taxis around.
