My DW and I have been RVing all over the Northeast for 33 years. My wife first went there in 1969 with her family when it was called Lake George Travel Trailer Park. It is still under the same family ownership which we think is important.
For a few years we alternated between Lake George RV Park and Lake George Escape. When Don & Kathy sold Lake George Escape to Encore, it went straight down the tubes. Just read the reviews on Trip Advisor .... I would not recommend my enemies to stay at Lake George Escape.
Lake George RV Park is by far the best CG we have ever stayed in. Some may say it is pricey, but so are most of the top-shelf CGs in the Northeast.
We have our yearly resevations for Lake George RV Park beginning on July 13th.
PS: We've been to Strawberry Park as well. We never spend too much time in a CG, so for us there is lots more to do and see in the Lake George area.
