Kingman, AZ RV park

We are going to go to Kingman AZ over the Christmas holiday this year. I am looking for recommendations for a campground for a few days. I have done my homework and checked RVparkreviews and a few other sites. Anyone have any personal recommendations. Thanks.

  • Hope you're aware that Kingman can get very cold.. . but then, you're going at Christmas so you'll want snow, right? Have a good trip!
  • We stayed at Zuni Village last time down to see the parents.
Basic park we were treated well, felt safe, close to WalMart and Safeway and it's clean.
$24 a nite with Good Sam or AARP.

    Drove thru the KOA:
Very nice we're going to stay there next time even tho it's around $44.00 per.
It's closer to Mom and Dads place.
  • Have used Ft. Beale probably 6 times but you most likely will need a reservation. Always has been very clean and nice with a great owner / staff.

Never had a leveling issue and have always been in the center pull thru row.
  • The KOA is back on a quite residential street and is a pretty nice place. Haven't tried any of the others though.
  • We have used Ft.Beale many times for overnight stops. It's a clean park with very nice owners, but the train noise can be a problem. The other choice is "Something" Ranch (can't recall the name) about 10 miles east of town. Nice park, no train noise, but nothing else is close either.
