KOA at Eureka Springs Ar

Has anybody stayed at this campground? What other campgrounds at Eureka Springs would you recommend? We would like full hookups and would be there in early Sept.
  • Our last stay was 2011? Nice place, everything you expect from a KOA. I had to use their secondary entrance...the primary drive has a dip then uphill off the highway which would have drug the rear/towbar. You will probably be OK with your 5th wheel. Also, turn off US62 onto Hwy 187 closest to Eureka, meaning don't come from Beaver Dam on 187...it'll make sense on the map.

Nice spot, just be aware that there's no contact with the outside world. No OTA TV, no Verizon signal.
  • It has also been a number of years since we stayed there, but would again. Nothing special, but certainly nothing bad either.

We stayed at Wanderlust CG last fall. Nice place, very clean, but the sites are pretty close together. A shuttle comes by several times a day so you don't have to drive into town if you don't want (small fee, $5 round trip per person I believe).
  • We stayed about 12 miles east of Eureka Springs in the little town of Berryville Arkansas. They have a city RV park there that has full hookups even cable TV for a $18 per night or $115 per week if you don't mind the drive to Eureka Springs. Also Walmart Supercenter nearby with Murphy USA with fuel (no diesel).

Wanderlust or Kettle. Can't go wrong. Clean, close, shuttle to get around. Nice amenities.
  • Several COE parks on Beaver Lake not too much further out then the KOA. Have not used the KOA but looks ok from the highway.
