A little off topic, but I too believe that the mix up may have occurred due to problems with the KOA corporate site, which the franchising company maintains for the individual parks (somebody correct me if I am wrong). I made a 2-night reservation at the Ft. Pierce/Port St. Lucie, FL KOA in February. Due to a scheduling change, I called back to request a change to a single night, the latter of the two. After informing me that no refunds could be made in high season, the person on the phone checked their records which said I only had a reservation for one night, the one I wanted. After pointing out that I had an e-mail confirmation saying two nights, the employee pretty much insisted that that was not possible since their records showed otherwise. I did not push it any further since it was what I wanted with no forfeited deposit. What is interesting is that I got another email confirmation from them showing only one night, plus a person who was obviously a supervisor called me back to reiterate that their records only showed one night.
