KOA Richfield, UT

My family just got back from a trip to the KOA campground in Richfield, UT. The place was so nice & the people so friendly that I thought that anyone planning a trip near this campground should know about it. The staff was friendly and helpful, they were dog friendly which is a must for my wife & I since we take our 3 dogs with us everywhere we go when camping & the whole campground has large mature trees which provided ample shade from the hot July sun here in UT. They are also ATV friendly and are just off the Paiute Trail which was great for us since we have a toyhauler and always bring our 4 wheeler with us to go exploring on. The town of Richfield allows ATV's on all their roads with the exception of the main drag thru town which is Main St.
  • Thanks for the review, we also travel with our toys and it sounds like a good place to explore. Post a review on RvParkReviews.com that way many can enjoy this great campground when in the area.
  • When our truck broke down a few years ago the tow truck driver dropped our 5er here. They went above and beyond to help us. They would make sure we had everything we needed and offered numerous times to take us out shopping should we need something. They were awesome.
  • I know that there are a lot of people who want to bash KOAs,but we have stayed at several in Utah and have been very satisfied with them. They were the ones at Salt Lake city, the water pressure there will take your skin off tho and they make sure that you have a pressure reg. The one at Moab is also nice as is the one at Beaver, which was almost empty the week before Thanksgiving several years ago. It was warm enuff in the evening that we had a fire and the folks from the rig next to us asked if they could join us and the managers also strolled over with some chips and liquid refreshments.
