Seven pages and the OP has responded once. Neither of his/her posts have included any information that anyone could base an opinion on. How about a detailed account of what really happened? Boycotting anything is a lot to ask without giving any real info
As to KOAs, I love them. Most anyway. It's just a different style of camping. Very much like RVing is a different style of camping. Many "real" campers who use tents would scoff at those of us who use RVs, even boondocking.
Price is what it is. The one I just stayed at was cheaper than many other private campgrounds. I've stayed at some that were more expensive. It's all relative.
