- jnharleyExplorerThere is a place on Oceana Blvd ( I think that is the street's name) where people park and watch the jets take off and land. You will get great pictures there.
- Bill___KateExplorerWe have stayed there in the "off" season a couple of times when the weather did not permit us to go north on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. Seems like a better than average larger size KOA, and I love the air show!
- esyersExplorerWe were there in April. They were upgrading the electric at some of the sites. We enjoyed the daily "air show".
- Bob___AnnExplorerHoliday Travel across the street will make for a nicer stay. They have a parking lot downtown a few blocks from the beach where you can park for free as a customer. We will be staying there in August
- TyroneandGladysExplorerWe thought it was a great park

As a long time former resident of Va Beach, that jet noise is really intrusive. I can understand that those who do not normally see military jets might like seeing (and hearing) them scream overhead. They are so low that you can wave at the pilots.
We are staying here in August for two nights and that's exactly why we chose this place.
We'll see how it goes. It may be remembered as, "that noisy campground that had all of the jets flying overhead." Looking forward to it! - jnharleyExplorerThe Holiday Travel Park is much nicer than the KOA. I drove by there in April and it looked like they were doing lots of construction in the KOA campground. - K_CharlesExplorerHave stayed there once years ago. We like across the street from there several times and like it much better.
- grampscamperExplorerWe stayed there last year. Nice clean campground. No complaints. Jets fly over most of the day. We enjoyed watching them. Shuttle bus to and from the beach comes into the campground on a regular basis.
We enjoyed our stay. - jk31668Explorerholiday travel is just across the st. and much nicer and friendlier IMHO
