- PAThwackerExplorerSchools have started back up, fall school sports in full speed, and some districts start up on the 4th. We are staying local at lake wallenpaupack, several families, tents, three boats, and our hybrid.

Waiting at home for the Labor Day camping weekend to be over so I can go camping. :B
That's what we will be doing too. I'll head to our destination Monday while everyone else is on their way home. The campground we are going to is only 20% full Monday night, and less than 15% from there on.:B - Thom02099Explorer IISame here for staying home for Labor Day weekend. Way too crowded at the placed I'd like to go. Crowds will thin out considerably the following weekend and on through September. Unfortunately, many of the USFS campgrounds around here begin to close mid-September. Just returned from a trip the Glacier Basin CG in RMNP, they close for the season on September 14, so will be trying to get a spot at Moraine Park for late September or early October for the elk bugling!
- past-MIdirectorExplorerLeaving in the morning for a great chapter campout at a member's house in St Charle, MI. Been doing for a few years. A great group get together with something going on everyday including deep fried turkey.

- shenandoahvalleExplorerI'm leaving on the 2nd...I try to stay away from campgrounds on major summer holidays. Like to leave plenty of space for the family campers.
- ScottGNomadFort Casey State CG. We'll probably take the ferry over the Port Townsend for the day on Sunday.
