If you don't need to be on the island you could check out Havasu Falls RV park. Mid January is the balloon fiesta, which might be making sites scarce.
  • We stayed at the State Park last February in their overflow lot which is first come. Had a site that backed up to the beach. You will need a generator in overflow lot. Super nice view and relatively cheap.
  • I am not familiar with Brandon. I would suggest calling their office and see if you can make a reservation over the phone. I did that 4 years in a row. I always spoke to the office manager. She was an older lady that has been there for several years.

Maybe another Lake Havasu resident will provide other information.
  • That sure doesn't sound right. I stayed there 4 years in a row and I never saw any sites that short. Every site I saw would accommodate 30' or more.

I hope you weren't talking to the young, new girl. I talked with her about a month ago, and it was obvious she knew nothing about the actual sites, or how many sites were available.
  • I have stayed at Crazyhorse in January many times. They always seemed to have a few empty spaces in various areas of the CG, even on the beach front. They also have what they called an "overflow" area near the lagoon and boat launch that usually had empty sites when everything else was filled up.

I have also stayed at the Islander. After the 1st of the year, there were very few empty sites all winter.

I don't know anything about the Beachcomber.

I was suggest calling Crazyhorse as soon as possible. They were good about trying to find a site for short term guests.
