Thanks for your reply Dave. I was actually looking at http://www.rolandmartinmarina.com Do you know how is the campground over there? We have a 35ft TT.
We have been to too many places around there, my "part timers" is kicking in right about now.
My girlfriend says we discussed that it was very nice.
You might want to check it on Google earth. That is usually the way I look. You can also bring up a street view.
There was plenty to do around the southwest corner of the lake.
Northeast corner was pretty isolated. So was southeast.
We really like Avon Park, Sebring area. Lots of small towns/shops. And another lake over every hill.
YES they actually have hills. I was impressed. I hadn't seen one of those in 30 years.
Now, with the TT I hope to see a lot more.
I'd be surprised if most of the lakes aren't in sinkholes, which would make them a lot deeper than Okeechobee, which is real shallow.
