We absolutely love Lake Tahoe and stay a minimum of 2 weeks in July every year. Campground by the Lake (City of South Lake Tahoe CG) is our favorite spot. We are not into gambling but the beauty of Lake is a site to see in itself. Great Bike trails is a plus. Swim in the Lake all the time without any issues. I highly recommend the trip.
