- ScottGNomadStayed at Oasis Las Vegas years ago.
Most amazing place we ever stayed. - 2oldmanExplorer III like Las Vegas Bay cg. Out of town and pretty and quiet.
- MDKMDKExplorerLake Mead NRA. It's nearby, but away from the chaos that is Las Vegas.
Or, there's the Railroad Pass casino - has a truck parking lot that might be usable as a place to drop the trailer for a few hours and do some sight seeing. It's just outside Henderson towards Lake Mead.
Easy access to the area, including Hoover Dam, but outside of the cities. - PawPaw_n_GramExplorerGoing or coming a must stop in my opinion is Valley of Fires State Park off I-15 a bit north east of Vegas. Truly incredible. The campground tucked in among the rock formations, but also great for a day trip if you don’t want to dry camp. There are spots with electric hookups but they are first come first served.
When we were there we moved to from a dry camping spot to an open electrical spot as soon as the previous occupant left at 8:20 am. I was told that is common. - Terry_25ExplorerIf you're going to LV to explore the "Strip", you can't beat the KOA at Circus Circus. Walk out front and board the Duece (double-Decker bus) and enjoy Las Vegas Blvd from the Fremont St Experience to the airport and everything in between.

I second the KOA on the strip. Great location and you don't have to drive anywhere. Its essentially a big parking lot with well laid out services including laundry, pool, store, etc. Steps from the strip, tons of restaurants etc. We are not big vegas people but every once in awhile we take in a show and check out the strip for a few days. - Matt_ColieExplorer IIIf you drag a towed, you have lots of options. One might be the RV lot at Main Street Station. Again, nothing more than an FHU parking lot.

Except now it is off-strip at Sam's Town Casino.

We had always stayed at Sam's Town even before KOA came in to manage the RV park.
Sam's Town does run a bus (free) to take you to the strip or downtown Freemont Street.

Wow, did not know that. So the Circus Circus campground is closed? - old_guyExplorerwe stay at sam's town also. nice place. everyone is so nice and helpful. when we got our 35 ft TT we didn't call for reservations. they did get me into the longest spot they had available and that meant we had to unhook. the nice people came out and helped me unhook and were there in the morning ot help me hook back up.
