Laughlin, NV

Hi There,

I have been asking many questions because we are planning for the entire year. We are planning to visit Laughlin this Spring Break (March 30) . Can you please recommend camp ground to stay and things to do ? We have 3 kids aged between 4-12 . thanks
  • Laughlin motorcycle rally starts around April 25th. You’ll be long gone before then. Not much for kids to do in Laughlin.
  • Spring Break?? I won't go near Laughlin -- motorcycle week is raucous and sometimes dangerous!!s

    Do make reservations.
Take a day trip and go from bullhead city
Up the old road to Oatman.
Take a boatride on the river.

At least from Davis Camp it is a short walk to the river to go swimming, fishing, ect..
  • Laughlin is pretty boring if your kids are to young to gamble.
  • A little far from Laughlin but Pirates Cove Resort in Needles Ca is awesome. We camped there around the 1st of November for 3 days and it was still 86 degrees during the days. We had a peninsula camp site with our back window facing the river. They have a nice bar/cafe and a zip line across the river and other amenities. Website is http://www.piratecoveresort.com. Check it out. If you are set on Laughlin it would be too far to camp there. Well you could camp at Pirates cove and I think there is a boat from the London Bridge in Lake Havasu City up the river to Laughlin for the day.
  • The Riverside RV Park allows users full access to the hotel amenities including the pools. A tram is available to take guests across the street to the Casino. All for $27 a night. Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort RV Park
The outlet center about a 1/4 mile away has a bowling alley and movie theater. Should be enough to keep the kids occupied.

  • Not many choices in Laughlin itself other than the Riverside Hotel/Casino/Campground....I like it but it's not really a Resort more a parking lot with full hook ups. More choices across the River and up the road. Bullhead City has lots of places to stay including the County Park right on the River. Down the road a piece, the Avi Casino has a KOA...driven through but never stayed there.
