Not happy about KOA taking over Lazydays. Worried they will turn the great resturaunt into a hamburger joint. KOA are pricey but my biggest complaint is if you want to stay a week no break in price- same price as the day rate- you want stay a month same price as day rate- oh yea you have to permission to say longer than 27 days. So staying in one is a 900.00 a month (average) way too much for what you get. KOAs are clean normally nice place to spend a night while on the road or maybe for the weekend. But they have no interest in anything other than overnight .business or weekend business.
Cat199, that is certainly not the case of all KOA's. One KOA that I like to stay in when I take my coach in for service is the Banning Stagecoach KOA in Banning, CA. They have monthly rates that are much less than the daily rate. I guess they are all different.
I don't stay monthly but I have received the list of weekly and monthly rates that are not the daily rates multiplied by the week or month.
