A used park model would serve the same purpose and provide more room???
Downside of park model is monthly fees all year round. They can add up fast. Friends paid $600 per month for theirs. Also if you get bored with one place, you can hire someone to move you to another park.
My parents eventually switched from hauling the RV back and forth and went with a park model.
The annual fee wasn't much more than the 6 month fee (arizona). They couldn't charge much for the summer since the alternative was an empty park.
One thing to keep in mind with a $10k RV (I'm assuming used) is a lot of these snowbird parks have a 10yr age limit. If you keep it nice, they often look the other way but most 30'+ $10k fifth wheels are pushing 10yrs old if not a good deal older, so you may get in cheap now but it may cost you later as you have to upgrade every few years or are pushed out. This seems to be less of an issue if you leave the RV parked there year round.
