I was shocked how 'inexpensive' the monthly rate for storing an RV is in Florida. Not at a CG. They have actual lots usually connected to a RV dealership, parts or repair shop. I found several of them just outside Orlando.
The key with using these is the good ones have an RV resident Security ON the lot who watches all the RV's and a fenced in area.
Had I known about these facilities I would have definitely left the MH in Florida and flown back and forth when I was snowbirding.
Only Down side is that if you have decals they will fade faster than if parked up North. But then again if you don't have a garage up North the ice and snow causes just as much a problem in other ways.
