Length of stay for Canadians in US - 240 days?

DW heard from a co-worker yesterday that you will be able to visit the US for up to 8 months now. Google turned up this CBC article from yesterday. Seems like the max. allowable stay is more complic...

No you do not need to fill out the form. You only need to fill out the form if you have a total number greater than 182 using the 3-year formula.
