Little Free Libraries

Campgrounds have had book exchanges since long before the little free library movement started. I've been picking up and dropping off books for over 20 years.

I've seen "impromptu" libraries at various campgrounds. Sometimes they ask you to take a book and leave one, at others it's just take a book. When we take walks to Seacliff State Beach I sometimes leave books there at the campground host's picnic table that serves as a "take a book" library. There's always plenty of books and magazines there!

Many state parks I've been to have a box in their interpretative center or HQ with books for exchange or free usage.

I got rid of several hundred books we had left over from selling the house at campgrounds over the past year. Still have a few thousand to go.

In all my travels the CG bathroom or CG check in office is the library!!
There are usually books there to take and a place to leave one for the next camper.
