Natural Chimneys is a great park but it's probably a solid 30 miles or more from Timberville. Endless Caverns is probably the closest. There's also a KOA just across the interstate, it has a Broadway address. About 12 or 15 miles to the west on route 259 is Highland Retreat. It's a very nice private campground owned by the Mennonite church. They might rent a sight to you, I don't know.
If you go further west on 259 into WV there's Lost River State Park. There's a few other small campgrounds around Mathias (Trout Pond for instance) I don't know how they would work out for an RV the size of yours.
There really aren't a lot of good options to be really close to Timberville. I grew up in Harrisonburg (12 miles away). Message me if you want directions to anything.
