The closest campground would be Endless Caverns. We have stayed there several times (clean, Quite, ez-in/ez-out). There is a new campground just off I-81 at Mt. Jackson. Shenandoah Valley Campground - near Shenandoah Caverns (Shenandoah Family Campground). Looks nice, hav'ent stayed there.
