I'm trying to find a campground in or near Bend, OR over the July 4th weekend and can't find a single opening. Therefore, we need to find someplace to boondock for three days. Anyone have any idea...

There is a site in the Nat Forest south of Sisters about 10-12 miles. It can handle your rig with no problems. Look for "Black Pine Springs" on Google Maps or Google Earth.
Totally boondocking, good paved road to the entrance, and usually fairly quiet even on holiday weekends. Water is nearby, small creek fed by the springs in the hillside.
Unless the crowds for the quilt show the following Saturday get there early. There usually isn't much to be found around Sisters during quilt show week.
