Looking for an overnight recommendation near Savannah, GA.

Question

Going to be traveling through Savannah next week on our way home.  Looking for a recommendation on a place to stay for the night?  Wont be there long, just stopping for a day and doing some sight seeing.  Easy in &amp; out is important, and not too far from downtown.  Suggestions?

Red Gate Campground is about 8 minutes from town and gets the best reviews on www.rvparkreviews.com    Sadly, not many good parks near Savannah.

Suggestions?We like Hardeevile-Thomas campground for this stop .is 10 minutes from downtown...the sites are big pull-thrus with lot of space....can go in off 95 on 16...cross the bridge and right to it...Chuck

If you want to head on north, Point South KOA is right off of I-95 at exit 33 in SC.  It's easy off/on.  We have used it several times.

X2 on Hardeeville, we stayed there in 2011, easy in &amp; out, big long sites, some trees and it's a Passport America park (or it was then)
