Wallace Park is a fairly nice park, close in sites though. Recent upgrades to systems, and opened up some of the really small sites. Busy though, need to make sure you can get a reservation in time for trip. Has tavern and brewery right there, and is almost downtown!!!
There are many nice NF CGs down south of Wallace along the St Joe River. No direct way down from Wallace. Can access from east at St Regis, MT and west from the Cataldo/Canyon, ID area. Hardly any NF stuff north of Wallace, but maybe some dispersed areas. Steep, narrow canyons so pretty much vertical camping!!!!
