Carlyle Lake. 15 mi +/- N of I-64. Beautiful lake. You can get a site w/o reservation at Eldon Hazlet SP at Carlyle Lake any time except Holiday.They have some 50 amp and a few pull thru in each section. The Corp parks are small and typically full on the weekends. No problem during the week. There are 4 campgrounds near Carlyle and two on East side of lake.
Nashville, IL 5 +/- S of I-64 is Washington County Recreation Area. Small campground, electric (50?) I saw two 50 amp sites. Nice campground. I Would reserve for weekend stop.
