Since this is the OP's first day here, nobody knows the OP well enough to judge if he's "making stuff up". I will state that his story sounds "unbelievable"" in the full sense of the word.
I have never heard of DHS responding to a citizen 911 call. As said, the first step would be a police response, which according to the OP never happened.
I myself have been rousted several times for looking or acting "suspicious". Once while fitness-walking a mile from my house at six in the morning. I shaded my eyes when the only car to pass me on a rural road shined its high beams in my eyes and drove so close he/she forced me to hop into the ditch. Two sherrif's units were scrambled on account of that driver's call--when it was entirely the driver's fault.
So I'm not saying it's "impossible", I'm just calling it "unbelievable" and noting that this is the OP's first post on this forum.
