We have to distill this unfortunate experience into appropriate slogans. Here are some suggestions:

When RVs are outlawed, only outlaws will have RVs!

When the going gets tough, the tough go camping.

They can have my vehicle registration when they pry it out of my cold, dead glovebox.

Don't believe everything you think you know.

Half of the stuff on the Internet is not credible. Unfortunately, we don't know which half.
