Check Sebago, but I'm not sure your grandchildren will find the action they're looking for.

We camp at Hid'n Pines the first week of July every year, but Powder Horn which is owned by the same family (the Ahearn) has a lot more to offer to teens.......

In Old Orchard Beach, Bayley campground or Powder Horn campground have wifi and television cable.and both have at least two pools. I forgot to mention in my earlier post that both campgrounds have shuttle bus that brings you to the beach.(I think the cost is a dollar)

Mt Desert Narrows is situated near Acadia National Park. If your grandchildren are into biking or hiking, this is the place to go....if not, they might not like the area.

As a Mainer, I can tell you the only place where teens will have fun is Old Orchard Beach. Beside the seven mile beach, you'll find an amusement park and an Arcade in town, and within five minute drive, two water parks and Ziplines and High Ropes Adventure.
Plenty of stores and restaurants in the area.
As for campgrounds there are Bayley's and Powder Horn which are what they call resorts.

Word of advice......Reserve soon, as Old Orchard Beach is a very vibrant place in the summer.

wife and I stayed at powderhorn last year, they also have a lot going on, but are a distance from the beach and town, they are on the shuttle stop. The sites out back are nice and there is a second pool complex out there.
weve been to paradise park, baileys and powderhorn and liked them all, but make note baileys is huge but also the furthest from the town and beach.

If I recall Powderhorn and hid'n pines is owned by the same family. both are next to each other. When we stayed at Hid'n pines my teens just walked to the beach area, not a problem for them with endless energy. Old Mom & Dad took the car! LOL Though we haven't been to Powder horn I hear it is more resort type campground and better for teens.

Paradise Park has a nice pool and hot tub, our teens loved that!

I think youll find baileys is better for teens than paradise park, although as someone mentioned from paradise you can walk into town. baileys has a shuttle bus.

Never been there with teens, but if I was to do such, I'd look close to OOB (Old Orchard Beach).
