MAINE Campgrounds
Was looking for some good Ideas of campgrounds in Maine. Would be coming up from New Jersey. Thanks in Advance

We really like Old Orchard Beach for the old-timey beachfront community. The downtown area is just so fun with some good restaurants, good fun for the kids (young teens) and some really good campgrounds. We don't do resorts because all the extra "fluff" is not for us. We stay at Ne're Family RV Park on the hill above downtown. It's 3 blocks from the water and easy walking if you can do the hill.
It's about 30 minutes from downtown Portland and the original LL Bean, which is worth a day trip.
