That’s why I asked if he had kids.
We prepaid a week at Bayleys and we disliked it. No refund, couldn’t leave.
What, 450 sites? Most of them filled young kids and their friends running around like Hooligans.
They had a marshmallow gun fight and were under our camper and picnic table. They rent out big atv pedal big wheels and there were roving biker gangs sliding around on the gravel..almost hit our dogs when were walking them.
The pool had 100 kids doing cannonballs all day.
Parents sat around the campfire all day drinking beer ignoring their kids.
Then it rained and the unpaved roads turned it into a mud pit.
Meanwhile we found Wild Duck around the corner. Adult only, paved roads, salt marsh view. Stayed there a few weeks until we had to leave. Wonderful.
And no, we don’t hate kids. Have two and adore our grandkids. Former Scout leader.
