Maine in October
We are heading to New England for October. We're hoping to sneak up on the Northern Lights. Are there any parks open that time of year? Hoping to be near the NB border.

Along the coast in the touristy areas, campgrounds pretty much close on Columbus Day. But if you go inland, you can find some private CG's that stay open through hunting season. For example:
