Maine in October
We are heading to New England for October. We're hoping to sneak up on the Northern Lights. Are there any parks open that time of year? Hoping to be near the NB border.

- If you use the good sam search engine for finding campground the season they are open is always listed I have found them to be 100% accurate

Elevation(ft): 7,151 - Not that I'm aware of. I'm afraid you may be disappointed-you probably won't even see the Northern Lights as they are very infrequent (just a few times a year) and that's in the winter. Here's a good link for the campgrounds in that area:
