In 2016 we spent a week in PEI and 3 days in NS....it should have been the reverse....we didn't make the plans.
We really liked the Highlands in New Glasglow PEI...very nice and extremely friendly staff.
In NS, we stayed in the central part of the Province, I think it was near Truro....we plan on going back to experience the Cabot Trail. We spent our time in the southern part of the Province, a lot of nice sights.
Be prepared for much higher diesel fuel costs. The Tidal Bore is pretty neat to see....a lot of lighthouses....and plenty of Lobster.
The Confederate Bridge is really cool....watch the video of it being constructed.
