Manor Resort Estes Park?

Looking at taking a trip there next year. Has anyone stayed at this park? Any info would be appreciated.
  • Check TripAdvisor.com for sure. I have not been to this particular resort but it is tough to find a bad place in Estes Park. If you're not camping check out the bed and breakfasts like the Baldpate Inn
  • Having lived in Estes for years I can only say that now the rv parks in Estes are no more than about a 6 on a 10 point scale - and very expensive. We now stay at Riverview in Loveland on the west side as you approach the canyon drive up to Estes.

I'm in Loveland and spend a LOT of time in Estes Park and have done so for the past 30+ years. And in all that time, I've never stayed here. It simply doesn't appeal to me, as it looks to be rather tight spacing there. It gets good reviews, and is close to town, has some amenities, guess it depends on what you're looking for in a RV park. It, like the others in Estes Park, is not cheap; rates in Estes Park are in the $50-$60/night range, with the exception of Estes Park Campground at Mary's Lake, which is run by the Estes Park Recreation and Parks Dept.

Estes Park Reviews check here for how it compares to others in the area. It's not that it's bad, just that, for me, there was no appeal. But I can also say that about Spruce Lake, which I have stayed at, but don't care for. Both are just a bit too tight for my tastes, but others rave about both.
  • You might try Grand Lake area on the other side of the park. There are several public and private campgrounds by the entrance and Grand Lake is a great visit on it's own.
  • Without, once again, going into detail - you want to be on the Estes Park side. Other than very limited hiking there is nothing in RMNP on the west side - all the activities, best hiking, almost all the things to see, etc, are on the Estes side.
