- Community AlumniLeaving from Montreal, we've done both hotels & campgrounds. It much depends on the weather and where we are when we want to stop.

Sorry, can't help with your question, but it does raise one from me. Being a west coast person, I have no idea what a Canadian Maritimer is. Can you enlighten me?
thanks
Ron
We are Canadians (obviously) from the Canadian Maritime provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Come on over for a visit sometime. You won't regret it.
You forgot Newfoundland there bye,
Canada's most friendly and gracious provinces!!
Nope didn't forget it. Newfoundland is not part of the Maritime provinces, it is part of the Atlantic provinces.
Hey, your from Ontario, you should know that!!:)
I guess I stand corrected,,good for you! - The_Painting_TeExplorer

A question for those who stay in hotels on their snowbird trip south.
Have you ever had thefts/break-ins from your RV while staying at a hotel?
I'm hesitant to stay in a hotel and leave our rig unattended out in a hotel parking lot overnight.
Three years for two nights each trip .... no trouble so far. Camp on! - KeilyExplorerRoddie, Glad your arm is coming along, it is important to be able to use both hands when consuming Alpine. Keep in touch and maybe be will hook up when you get down there. Are Mike and Alison going down at the same time?

The arm is coming slowly, but at least I can hold a drink in it now, so all is good.
Roddie - KeilyExplorerWhen are you leaving Roddie, and where are you going/staying?
Is your arm healed up enough to drive that big rig of yours now? - spud1957ExplorerHave a great trip Roddie. Maybe send me a PM when you get back and let me know how the trip down and back was.
- roddiemacdonaldExplorerHey Ianerd, you just have to come on up and after you've been here, you'll just understand. Then you'll get what we mean about being a Maritimer.
Spud1957 from home but now living away. We are doing our virgin trip south this winter ourselves in a 5th wheel. Leaving from Halifax, so I'm glad you asked this question. Not sure how far down we'll get the first couple of nights, so I too would like to hear some suggestions.
Roddie Macdonald - D_E_BishopExplorerlanert, Just roll with it, it sort of adds an amount of mystic to the East Coast "Maritime" Provinces. Enjoy your trip there and I hope the OP has a safe and Ice Free trip to the Waiting Room.
