I just turned 65 and my son gas taken well care of my medical ins. this is what he does, and he is so disappointed with so many agents. they are more worried about bonus than you.

at 65 you qualify for Medicare. they pay 80%. you then choose a Medicare advantage plan or a supplemental plan.
advantage plans are ok, but usually require you to see a primary care DR. since you travel, this cane be a problem. he is putting me on a supplemental plan. the prices for these very greatly so check on them.
