bob nestor gave very good advice. Any SS office should be able to access records and answer your questions.
We have fulltimed for 10 years and I just turned 65 in July. The enrollment for part A is automatic, you have to decide about part B, but take it. If you wait till later you will pay much more. Then you have to decide on the supplement and part D. If you do not enroll in those when first eligible, you will pay a % penalty for every month you don't. The SS office could advise you about a 1 month (Dec.) enrollment to avoid that.
Supplements and Part D plans are all available through the Medicare.gov website so it doesn't matter where you are when you decide to sign up. But you can get advice from the SS office. I first became familiar with them when we had to sign my parents up. We did that at a Council on Aging (not in their home state either). They explained everything, signed them up, and answered all questions we had. After that experience, I was able to do it on line for myself and my husband.
The SS office would also be able to answer all your questions about your SS and Medicare eligibility.
