It also helps to plan ahead, not wait until you must enroll or actually need supplemental insurance. In SuzzeeeQ's case, she is starting to plan far in advance. However I think for her husband, I would not have left home without having a supplement insurance plan in place, along with prescription coverage before I left home. It is not something to consider in the spare of the moment.
