Medora Campground?

I did a search for Medora Campground in Medora, North Dakota and didn't really find anything specifically about that campground. Found stuff about TRNP and a little bit about the park campgrounds. Anyone have comments about the Medora Campground? Been there? Recommend or not? We currently have reservations at Sully Creek State Park campground but are a little concerned because of no electricity there and thinking it could be hot when we are out there and maybe (probably) needing A/C, so are thinking of changing to somewhere that has hook-ups. Any other recommendations?

  • He said, Medora North Dakota. We were there a few years ago and stayed at a small campground just as you enter town. I wish I could remember the name as it was fine for two nights. Just saw Pawatt's post, It was Red Trail that we stayed at. At the time we had a small tag along.
  • There are 2 campgrounds in Medora. Medora Campground and Red Trail. Medora campground is a mud hole when it rains. If you're not a really big rig Red Trail is better but not great.
  • Have you checked the reviews here?

I agree Charles...it would be nice if posters would tell us the location of the campground they are asking about. I know if I've never heard of it, but sometimes I might like to read about a new campground to me.
  • While I can do a search and probably turn up something, it would help when people ask about a location, to tell everyone where it is located. Egypt, Brazil, California? I like to read people's comments about campgrounds and do a little research when someone asks a question like this, buttttttt....... as the real estate agent says.......... location, location, location.
