Memorial Weekdend
Have booked out first trip to Lake Gaston Americamp Looking forward to the get away This will be our first trip so I will be taking notes.Any advice for the first -timers

- Dang, Memorial day is the last time we go out until fall when it cools back down and the crowds go back home. We have already been out six times. First couple was just us and a few other campers in the whole place
- If I were you I would either leave Thursday or early Friday am to beat the rush, that way you can roll in before it gets crowded and have plenty of room to get situated. Nothing worse than roll in after everyone is set up and have to maneuver around everyone.
Make yourself a checklist so you don't forget the obvious stuff that u think u would never forget.
Never camped there but have been many times back in the day, friends had a house on the lake, lots of FUN times at Lake Gaston! Have a great time!
