The Boston Tea Party was over a tax on the English colonies. There was no such tea tax in England and there were no members of the English Parliament from any English colonies. The situation in Michigan doesn’t invole a tax, does involve a public health issue and all citizens of Michigan are represented. Your analogy is faulty.
