No offense but if you are going to the UP to camp, avoid Casinos and RV Parks at all costs. You can stay at those anywhere.
There are great State and National parks in the UP. My favorites are Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rock National Lake Shore, Fort Wilkins State Park, Porcupine Mountains State Park, Fayette State Park, McClain State Park and Drummond Island.
This is by no means an all inclusive list but all of these are great and offer an abundance of hiking, paddling, and biking opportunities.
