Porcupine mountains for hiking and daily ranger sessions. Book state park campsites early to get a site on Lake superior. While there, visit Adventure Mine in Greenland. It's an amazing cooper mine tour.
White fish point lighthouse, museum, keepers quarters and beach.
Go to Soo locks and time your visit with a freighter passing through.
Tahquamenan Falls, both sets of falls are nice but the upper falls are the biggest.
I've been in the UP in July and it's been 32 degrees at night. Bring warm clothes just in case!
