Wondering when people are planning on heading back north. Will it be earlier or later than usual? The weather in Canada now suggests not to be in too big a hurry.
We are all packed and ready to go. (except the stuff that we will find we forgot)Starting the 4 1/2 day drive home to Ontario in an hour. It is going to be a challenge but hope to be back to Fun n Sun in San Benito, Tx in November.
Have had people say they have to get started to get back for the planting because the kids don't do it right. Mind you, the 'kids' are in their 40s & 50s and I'm sure are hoping that the parents/grandparents stay south enjoying the sun until the planting is done! :B
There were seven rigs lined up in the outside parking lot here at Fun n Sun last night. Ready for a fast departure this morning and considerate of their neighbours as to not wake them up. Many leaving this week end and next.
we live in NC and I was driving south on I77 yesterday, saw a lot of RV's heading north. I guess the migration is on. we could not make it to FL this year, but look forward to next year. we had our first 70 degree day yesterday.
The weather back home has taking a large turn for the better with predicted temps above freezing all next week. Have to start making some serious thinking about when we are going to pull up stakes here.
Just returned from a quick trip to northern UT and believe me, the migration has begun. Yesterday from Ogden to Las Vegas the RV traffic northbound was moderate to heavy, however today, from Las Vegas to Yuma, it was very heavy. We were planning on leaving 4/4 but have delayed that to 4/9 to let the end of the month crowd get out of dodge.
