Military Campgrounds current base sticker policy?

Our windshield stickers for both the CRV and the MH expire next year. I've heard that the Air Force only requires an ID card (DD Form 2 retired) now. The DW has her DEERS card available also. It's a 1...

The Air Force did away with stickers on vehicles several years ago. They have no stickers and will not issue them. I know that the Army posts that I have been to anyway, followed suit a year or so later. I believe the Navy has done the same. I have only been to one Navy installation and they did not require a sticker. Showed an ID card at every gate.
