Military Campgrounds current base sticker policy?

Our windshield stickers for both the CRV and the MH expire next year. I've heard that the Air Force only requires an ID card (DD Form 2 retired) now. The DW has her DEERS card available also. It's a 1...

I have been to Fort Knox, Kentucky, Fort Campbell, Kentucky, had less problems than going into my local guard base. Most bases are 100 Percent ID Check. I also went into Hunter AAF last September and inquired...no problems. I have been to McDill, AFB, no problem without a sticker.
