Military Campgrounds current base sticker policy?

I was at Parris Island in April and they wanted me to have a DOD window sticker, guess the rules have changed there too! BTW after I received my sticker they still wanted to do 100% ID checks when entering. Go figure. I say "if you have a valid military ID active duty or retired I think that 99.55% of the time you are going to be granted access to the installation you desire to enter.
