Montana/Idaho must see suggestions

We are headed north in a couple of weeks, already have reservations at Grand Teton, Yellowstone and then Glacier from the middle of August thru labor day. After that we have about 10 days open. Looking for must do and must see options.

We enjoy watching wildlife, moderate hiking, scenic jeep trails and exporing ghost towns, but are open for other ideas while we are there also.
  • On your way between Yellowstone and Glacier, you should pass the national bison range which is a good place for a stop.

  • Craters of the Moon is interesting.
Along the way near Arco is the first nuclear reactor.
Snake River canyon is on ID/OR/WA border.
Could do a loop through ID on US 20 & US 26 north on US 95 and then east on US 12. This will go through many different areas of ID.
