I drove through there two years ago when we were visiting Parkersburg and decided we didn't want to stay there. It is a county park and at that time it was in very poor condition, to the extend that I sent an email to the county commissioners expressing my disappointment of their facility. I would recommend going out US 50 to Harrisville and staying in the new section of North Bend State Park.
